An invitation to the Chinese New Year Party

You are invited to attend the SBS Annual student led Chinese New Year Party. This year it will be held on Week 2, Friday January 27th from 6:00 – 9:30 p.m.

Three main events are scheduled for the evening:

1) Performance in Nelson Mandela Theatre at 6:00pm
• Speech by VIP Guest
• Lion dance & martial arts
• Traditional Korean music
• Raffle draw, 80 gifts for 80 lucky winners!
• Chinese Wedding Dress and Ceremony by our own SBS models

2) Temple Fair in SBS Lobby at 7:30pm
• Chinese calligraphy/ Generating Chinese Names
• Traditional Chinese games
• Tea Ceremony
• Chinese Lantern Festival--Quiz Game

3) Chinese Buffet/Happy Hour/Karaoke in Dining Room from 7:30pm

Wow! How can I get a ticket?

Students can buy tickets through the following ticket-sellers on Thursday, 19th of January:
Section A: Suman Banerjee, Gertrude Wong
Section B: Chris Fearn, Leslie Lai
Section C: Pierce Louis, Matthew Urhammer
(gifts for the first 30 buyers)

Tickets cost £10 for students/faculty, £6 for children under 12 and free for under 5's but the experience will be priceless.
